This spacious and easy to set up shelter from Hyperlite Mountain Gear can accommodate a group of four and provide sanctuary in all but the most extreme weather. The UltaMid 4 can serve as a basecamp shelter but the remarkably low weight makes this extremely portable.

While giving a welcome reduction to any kit's overall mass, it doesn't compromise to the shelters overall durability. Made from Dyneema Composite Fabrics this elegant structure will outlast any silnylon material shelters many times over. The UltaMid 4 can be pitched high off the ground or tight to the ground and can be set up quickly and easily with adjustable or suspended from the central peak. To use your trekking poles as a centre pole you'll want some to lash the two poles together.
